Alan Gignoux is a professional reportage photographer. Since graduating from the London School of Printing in 2000 he has worked in Africa, Kosovo, Serbia and the Middle East. He seeks to understand the personal experience of the individual in unfamiliar, often temporary, sometimes threatening environments. His Homeland Lost project is a series of photographic essays looking at long term refugee situations throughout the world. He is based in London.
