Candace Bahouth is an artist, designer and author. A New Yorker of Italian-Lebanese descent, she has lived in the UK for over 30 years. Originally known as a tapestry weaver, she is now better known for her needlepoint designs and mosaic work. She is the author of Medieval Needlepoint (1993), Romantic Needlepoint (1996) and Mosaics (with Kaffe Fassett, 2000). Examples of some of her larger scale works are in the Victoria & Albert Museum, London. She lives in Somerset.
