Francesca Shakespeare was born 1961 and studied Fine Art and Italian at Exeter University, living in Rome and Florence for two years. As a mural painter, Francesca was based at Great Western Studios, London, from 1986-98. She now lives and works in Oxford and exhibits in solo shows at the New Grafton Gallery, London. She recently directed a large community project for Oxfordshire called ‘Spoon Race’ which will be exhibited in Liverpool later in 2008.
