Izmat Asad was born in Nablus in 1965. In 2001 he graduated from An Najah University, Nablus, with a BA in fine arts. In 2001, he exhibited in the Arab Students Biennale in the United Arab Emirates. Group exhibitions have included 'Artists from Nablus', Youth Centre (1996), and he also took part in the opening of the Al Hallaj Gallery in Ramallah in 2003. Lives and works in Nablus.
