Jane Frere is a theatre designer, producer and multimedia artist originally from Scotland. She studied in London at Central St Martin's College of Art and Design and the Slade School of Fine Art, and lived for many years in Greece. She has worked with theatre groups in Iran and eastern Europe, but her most recent project Return of the Soul: The Nakbah Project was a collaboration with Palestinians across the region. The installation has been exhibited at Al Hoash Gallery in Jerusalem, in Beirut and Amman, and at the 2008 Edinburgh Festival. She lives in London.
