Occupied Space 2008

Monther Jawabreh was born in Arroub refugee camp, near Bethlehem, in 1976. He graduated in 2001 from An Najah University in Nablus with a BA in painting. He has participated in group exhibitions in Palestine, the US and Germany, and had a solo exhibition at the A.M.Qattan Foundation, Ramallah, in 2003. An art instructor at the UN Training College for Women in Ramallah, he is also a founder member of a new artist-run gallery space, Al Mahatta, in Ramallah. Lives and works in Ramallah.
