Nicola Gray was born in Aden in 1959. She studied Fine Art at Bournville School of Art (Birmingham), Winchester School of Art, and for a MFA at Mills College, Oakland, California (1987). She has been collaborating with artists in Palestine since 2003, inviting artists to the Braziers International Artists Workshop in the UK, and curating the 2006 Young Artists Award exhibition in Ramallah. Her most recent photographic project, Atget in Alex, was exhibited in Alexandria, Egypt, in January 2008. Lives and works in Colchester.
